ABOUT US

We’re a robotics startup building an agnostic orchestration platform that allows companies to manage, monitor, and control multiple robots and robotic systems from a single interface. We’re also developing custom Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models that enable natural-language reasoning and autonomy across diverse robot types and industries. Our mission is to make robotics more accessible, intelligent, and scalable across sectors from hospitality and healthcare to defense and sports facility management. Think of it as an operating system for any robot, with an expanding library of intelligent capabilities. We are self-funded and currently building the v1 platform with our first pilot partners in the energy, hospitality and sports sectors.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Build and improve the teleoperation system — letting operators control robots and collect highquality demonstration data across multiple VR and teleop formats. You work hands-on inside the teleop pipeline daily, improving latency, retargeting fidelity and the quality of data that trains the VLA models.

TECH STACK

  • Pico / Meta Quest
  • ROS 2
  • Python / C++
  • LeRobot

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and maintain teleoperation pipelines across VR formats (Pico, Meta Quest, LeRobot and others)
  • Implement and tune retargeting algorithms that map human hand and arm pose to target robot embodiments
  • Work hands-on with dexterous hand hardware to improve retargeting accuracy and naturalness
  • Improve end-to-end latency, fidelity and operator experience in the teleop system
  • Capture, curate and quality-check teleop demonstrations for the VLA training flywheel

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years robotics or teleoperation engineering with real-hardware experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on time with Pico, Meta Quest or LeRobot-style systems
  • Genuine retargeting experience: you have mapped a human hand or arm pose to a robot embodiment in a running system
  • Strong Python and/or C++ with real-time systems sensibility; able to debug latency from observable symptoms
  • Experience with dexterous or gripper-based hand hardware
Nice to have
  • Imitation learning or demonstration data curation backgroung
  • ROS 2 real-time middleware and DDS configuration experience

WHY JOIN US

  • This is a rare opportunity to help design and build the foundational technology for a robotics platform from the ground up
  • Competitive salary
  • Relocation support and housing assistance for Madeira-based roles; CINM free-zone benefits
  • Small, senior, hands-on team — everyone owns a meaningful slice of the product from day one
