ABOUT US

We’re a robotics startup building an agnostic orchestration platform that allows companies to manage, monitor, and control multiple robots and robotic systems from a single interface. We’re also developing custom Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models that enable natural-language reasoning and autonomy across diverse robot types and industries. Our mission is to make robotics more accessible, intelligent, and scalable across sectors from hospitality and healthcare to defense and sports facility management. Think of it as an operating system for any robot, with an expanding library of intelligent capabilities. We are self-funded and currently building the v1 platform with our first pilot partners in the energy, hospitality and sports sectors.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Own the simulation pipeline that trains and validates robots across the platform — building sim-ready environments in MuJoCo and Isaac Sim for all the sectors served: hospitality, healthcare, defence, energy and sports. You drive domain randomisation, measure sim-to-real gap and integrate simulation tightly with VLA training pipelines.

TECH STACK

  • MuJoCo
  • Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab
  • Python
  • USD / URDF / MJCF

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments in MuJoCo and Isaac Sim across all robot types on the platform
  • Create sim-ready environments matching real deployment sectors: hospitality, healthcare, sports facilities, energy and defence
  • Drive domain randomisation pipelines: lighting, object placement, surface friction, sensor noise, clothing physics
  • Define and own the sim-to-real gap measurement framework — know when the sim is trustworthy and when it is not
  • Integrate simulation with VLA training and evaluation pipelines; partner with 3D Designers on realistic assets

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years robotics simulation with deep hands-on in both MuJoCo and Isaac Sim — both, not just one
  • Real experience converting physical environments into sim-ready training scenes
  • Strong Python and simulation data pipeline skills; solid understanding of rigid-body physics and contact models
  • Experience with sim-to-real methodology: measuring and closing the gap, not just running simulations
  • Ability to collaborate with AI, Robotics and 3D teams to make simulation useful for real deployments
Nice to have
  • Isaac Lab, Isaac Gym or RoboCasa RL environment design experience
  • Digital twin methodology for real-world environment capture

WHY JOIN US

  • This is a rare opportunity to help design and build the foundational technology for a robotics platform from the ground up
  • Competitive salary
  • Relocation support and housing assistance for Madeira-based roles; CINM free-zone benefits
  • Small, senior, hands-on team — everyone owns a meaningful slice of the product from day one
